About Dr. Hamza Muhammad Syed

I completed my GCSE O and A levels in 2013 and 2015 respectively scoring high grades in sciences. This led me to pursue my life long dream of becoming a doctor and I completed my MBBS degree in 2021, I then embarked to pursue higher speciality training in the UK. I currently hold a registration with the General Medical Council, with a license to practice medicine in the UK. Given teaching has always been a passion for me, I have provided private tuitions to students who needed extra help since 2015. I specialise in the subject of Biology helping students across different boards including CIE, EDEXCEL and AQA to achieve higher grades. I am also an experienced lecturer having taught medical students at Ziauddin Medical University. Currently I am aiming to get into training in Emergency Medicine in the NHS, UK. In my free time, I like to play padel and perform stand-up comedy at open mics.

Tutoring Style

With a decade long experience in teaching I have realised that the best approach is to keep the class environment very friendly and casual allowing students to be comfortable with me and enjoy the classes to the fullest. My lectures always involve a fair bit of humour and discussions on latest progress in medical sciences. I focus mainly on building core concepts which are vital for understanding questions and how to tackle them. Once we have developed concepts I then move onto to acquaint students with exam styled questions guiding them with techniques to answer them efficiently.
